Important Information And Skatebase Rules
- On arrival at your venue please make your way TO THE REGISTRATION DESK.
- Please be aware this is a public session.
- All under 8's must be accompanied by a responsible adult who will stay for the length of the session.
- Please ensure children dress appropriately for the activities.
- If children behave inappropriately, parents will be contacted and asked to collect their child.
- Skate Base staff cannot accept responsibility for administering medication other than First Aid in the instance of an accident.
- Specifically for Harvey Hadden Sessions - once a skater leaves the building they will not be permitted to return to the building/session. As a parent please discuss the with your young people to ensure that they are aware as no exceptions will be made.
SKATE BASE RULES
- Skate within your own ability.
- Roller Skating is a dangerous activity with a risk of injury. Skate Base HIGHLY recommend the use of safety equipment.
- No skates are to to worn when entering or leaving the building.No food or drink to be taken on to the skating area.
- Alcoholic beverages, illegal substances, or anyone under the influence of such substances will not be permitted on the premises.
- Please only take photographs with permission of those in the picture.
- If you are pregnant or have a medical condition or injury that may be exaggerated by excise please do not skate.
- Skaters skate at their own risk.
- Skate Base UK Ltd cannot be held responsible for injuries caused by in house structures, objects or by the actions of other skaters.
- You are responsible for your own property. Please ask about lockers.
- Please skate in the direction instructed at ALL TIMES.
- Please listen to the Crew. They are here for your safety.
- All skaters must report any injury to a member of staff regardless of severity.
- While skating – No Pushing – No Playing Tag – No Sudden Stopping – No Fast Skating. These actions will jeopardise the safety of other skaters.
- No fighting or disruptive behaviour.
- No swearing or abusive language or gestures.
- Please remove skates when leaving the hall.
- No Chewing gum.
- No smoking anywhere in the building.
- No carrying children whilst on skates – AT ALL – this is very dangerous!
- During busy times we may request that learners remain in the centre circle.
- Skate Base UK Ltd will photograph these events for use on social media. Please talk to us if you have any concerns.
- Bullying will not be tolerated.
- No mobile phones while skating – look where you are going.
ANY PERSON NOT ABIDING BY THESE RULES WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE EVENT.
